Tanjore or Tanjavur, the Rice Bowl of Tamil Nadu is another place to enjoy. The Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara is a world heritage monument lying in Tanjore. Bronze art is emphasized in its structure and there is also a gallery of South Indian arts and crafts inside.
Chettinadu may fill your eyes and stomach. This is a place with the name for Indian cuisine. Spicy food and meals like eggplant curry, drumstick sambar might not miss your hungry stomach. Sweet meats are also served such as payasam and paal paniyaram.
