Choose Your Category to apply for Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program

Skilled worker or Alberta employer
If you are a foreign worker with a permanent, full-time job offer from an employer of Alberta in any skilled occupation, then you can apply for AINP under the skilled migration category.
But, if you are an Alberta employer, intending to retain a skilled foreign employee on a permanent, full-time basis, then you can apply for AINP under the Alberta employer category.
International graduate or Alberta employer
You can apply for AINP under International graduate stream, if you have recently done your graduation from a post-secondary institution of Canada and have a permanent, full-time job offer from an employer of the province in any skilled occupation.
However, if you are an employer in Alberta and want to retain an international graduate on a permanent, full-time basis, then you have apply for Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program under Alberta employer stream.
Semi-skilledworker or Alberta employer
To apply under semi skilled worker category, you have to be a foreign worker with a permanent, full-time job offer from an employer of Alberta in a qualified semi-skilled occupation.
In case, you are an Alberta employer wish to retain an eligible semi-skilled overseas worker on a permanent, full-time basis, then applying under Alberta employer category would be the right option for you.
However, only the selected occupations from the below mentioned industries are eligible:

Front desk agent/clerk - Manufacturing industry
- Long-Haul Trucking industry
- Foodservices industry (pilot project)
Tradesperson
If you are a businessman with an Alberta Qualification Certificate in a Compulsory or Optional Trade and have received an invitation to apply to the AINP, you can apply under Tradesperson category.
Engineer
You will become eligible to apply for AINP under Engineer category, if you are an engineer, designer or drafter in Alberta with required work experience.
Farmer
In case, you are a farmer and want to Migrate to Alberta to establish or buy a farming business in the province, then applying for AINP under Farmer category would be the right option for you.
