Tier 1 Uk Visa
Tier 1 visa is the visa of choice for highly skilled migrants, as it does not require employer sponsorship. It is a replacement for HSMP (Highly skilled migrant program) which is now obsolete. Tier1 of the PBS replaces eight immigration categories from the previous system and replaces them with four new subdivisions.

A person needs 75 points in order to gain tier 1 UK visa. If you are an MBA professional then it holds 75 points and you are eligible for tier 1 visa. Like educational qualification there are two more criteria for point calculation: Age and previous earnings. One more benefit of tier 1 visa is that you can take your dependants with you to UK. You can also apply for ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) in UK after 5 years under tier 1 UK visa and for British citizenship after 2 more years. Tier 1 is initially provided for 3 years only, after that you have to apply again.
