Dependant Pass and Long Term Visit Pass Singapore
A dependant pass Singapore is a family relocation visa issued to spouse and unmarried children below 21 years of age. If you earn a monthly salary of $ 2,500 you may apply for a dependant pass (DP) and if you hold a work pass of employment pass or entrepreneur pass as well. A separate DP application form must be filled for each eligible family member.
A dependant pass holder's status is tied to the work pass holder. As long as the work pass holder is employed , the DP holder is eligible to live in the country as well as leave and enter freely without having to apply for a visa every time. If you have an employment pass holder and give birth to a baby in Singapore, you will receive a letter from the hospital. You submit the letter to the immigration and checkpoints authority which the baby will be issued with a 42 days social visit pass and within this time you should apply for the baby's dependant pass.
Along with the completed dependant pass form, the following documents must be submitted
For a spouse, a copy of official marriage certificate
A copy of personal page of passport.
A copy of birth certificate, for the child.
Copy of the adopted child.
A recent passport sized photo.
Education documents of the DP if any.
School details in an education in Singapore if any
Salary details for the most recent employment held if any.
For a child under 16 years the parent should sign the DP visa form on behalf of the child.
The applicant for long term visit pass must be sponsored by a well established registered company and the form endorsed with the company's stamp and signed by the applicant and an authorized officer from the sponsoring company. A parent signature is required for children aged between 16 years of age and below. If you hold an employment pass (p1, p2) you are eligible to apply for the long term visit pass for your spouse, unmarried daughters above 21 years of age, handicapped children above 21 years of age, step children and parents/parents in law.

- A copy of the employment holder declaring the relationship with the applicant
- A letter from the employment embassy confirming the status of the common law marriage to the applicant in their country.
To unmarried a copy of birth certificate which states the name of the parents.
To the handicapped a letter of report from the doctor showing the applicant conditions.
A copy of the court order on the child's custody.
A copy of the employment pass holder's birth certificate which shows the name of the parents.
A copy of the birth certificate of the employment pass holder's spouse which states the names of the spouse parents.
